How can we make local production more resilient whilst also ensuring it is sustainable? At the industry colloquium ‘Innovation instead of crisis – Resilience through sustainable production’, experts from industry and academia will share insights into their practical experience and showcase methods and models that make companies less vulnerable to political, technological or climatic uncertainties.

• Schüco International on sustainability targets and their impact on core business
• Siemens AG on data ecosystems and Factory-X
• Ingenics AG on data-driven simulations for energy efficiency and economic and environmental potential

In addition, academics from Leuphana will contextualise these practical insights within current research frameworks relating to sustainable, resilient and data-driven production and value creation systems. The aim is to jointly develop new ideas for sustainable production and supply systems, to deepen existing partnerships and to create new avenues for collaboration. Following the presentations, guests can look forward to an interactive gallery walk. Over snacks and informal networking, we will round off the afternoon in the machine hall, amidst extrusion presses and additive manufacturing.
